appropriate ways of checking meshing qualities

From Direct mail to EDU support What would be appropriate ways of checking meshing qualities such as continuity or checking whether elements/surfaces are composed of two or more regions joined at discrete nodes? One thing I was able to do from Hypermesh was that Tool-> check elems, and click connectivity, Then, I got a comment at the lower left corner saying "2 elements were found with questionable connectivity" but I do not see where those 2 elements are located at. How could visualize these 2 bad elements as well as would you recommend any other ways of checking meshing qualities for Abaqus solver so that I could fix those bad meshes? Thank you very much!
